Dave Berry is best-remembered for hits such as ‘Memphis, Tennessee‘, ‘The Crying Game and ‘Little Things‘. Together with his backing band The Cruisers they continued recording and touring throughout the 70s and 80s. Known for his expressive voice Dave Berry has remained fresh and dynamic in front of the pulsating back-beat of The Cruisers.
Steve Ellis first began singing in a band at the age of 15. The band were called Soul Survivors, initially gate crashing weddings, youth clubs and barmitzvas in north London on the pretence that they were booked to perform. When the band improved substantially they began to play venues such as The Marquee, The Flamingo, Tiles and Mod clubs in Brighton, Clacton and Soul clubs in Manchester, Stoke and all points north. After the band’s first release on Decca Records, they moved on to CBS and became one of the most successful British pop acts of the late 60s, under their new name Love Affair, and had a string of hit records.They had their biggest hit in 1968 when one of the UKs most endearing number ones – Everlasting Love – hit the top of the charts. Steve Ellis was acknowledged as one of the best soul-rock singers in the business and this epithet continues today.
Vanity Fare formed in 1966 and are best remembered for their million-selling song ‘Hitchin‘ a Ride‘, which became a worldwide hit in 1970. Two more singles followed before the end of 1970 – ‘Come Tomorrow‘ and ‘Carolina‘s Coming Home‘ both of which were minor hits. In the mid 70s they decided to concentrate on live performances touring Europe, where they were having hit singles. Their highly developed style of melodic close harmonies still wows audiences today.
Roy G Hemmings is the longest serving former member of legendary group, The Drifters. He has entertained audiences around the world with his easy, relaxed style and fabulous voice in a career that spans four decades and includes appearances in several Royal Variety shows and twice at The White House. His current stage show The Dictionary of Soul includes the songs of Otis Reading, James Brown, The O-Jays, The Supremes, Temptations, Four Tops and other Motown and Soul greats.
Niqi Brown as Tina Turner will blow you away with her incredible tribute to the Nutbush Queen. Niqi has been a professional performer for many years and has sung with such artists as Edwin Starr, Martha Reeves, Mary Wilson, Errol Brown and supported Destiny’s Child, The Wailers and Madness. Niqi is the ultimate Tina Turner tribute act. A fast moving, dynamic show recreating hit after hit, this is one of the the best tributes in the UK today.
The Beached Boys magically capture the original 60s surfing sound of the Beach Boys and are still probably the only Beach Boys tribute to have Been joined on stage by original members of the Beach Boys. Listen in amazement as they recreate the super summer sounds of the inspirational California originals. Hits like ‘Little Deuce Coup‘, ‘I get Around‘, ‘Surfin Safari‘ and ‘Help Me Rhonda‘ should get you yearning for the sun and surf.
Spencer James has been the lead singer and guitarist with The Searchers since the mid 1980s, and he has also made albums of his own material which show his gift for writing and producing and singing. He has been a hard working musician for over 40 years and has a strong following on the 60s and 70s music scene.
Steve Simone is soul singer with a dynamic stage presence specialising in Motown classics as well as Jazz and R&B. Steve has been performing his extensive repertoire for many years to audiences around the world.

The Club chalets at Pakefield have a bedroom and a small kitchenette including: microwave, toaster, kettle, small sink and some utensils. The main bedroom area of the Club has the bonus of patio doors opening out to beautifully maintained gardens. Club chalets also allow an early 2pm check-in.
Breakfasts and dinners are taken in the buffet-style cafeteria with views over the grounds to the sea.
