Celebration of the 60s Party at Bosworth Hall Hotel

The New Honeycombs evolved from the original Honeycombs, who burst onto the pop scene with the worldwide hit number one Have I The Right in 1964 followed by another That’s The Way, Is It Because and the Ray Davies penned Something Better Beginning. Their set is virtually a discography of the 1960s.
The Moondogs are a young, vibrant 3-piece cover band recreating the sights, sounds and raw energy that defined the 50s and 60s. From the fantastic 50s Rock n Roll sounds of Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis, to the musical explosion that defined the 60s from bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, The Kinks, Spencer Davis Group et al. This trio will transport you back to those exciting times when music shaped a generation.
The Ragdolls are Europe’s number 1 tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Their celebration of Frankie and the boys will take you on a musical journey through the sounds of one of the most successful bands of all time. Classic songs such as Sherry, Walk like a man, Oh What a Night and many more truly recreate the iconic sound of the Four Seasons.With slick choreography and the Frankie’s recognisable falsetto, The Ragdolls really set the scene for a great night of music.
Nancy Ann Lee is best know as “Little Miss Sixties” where she has received rave reviews for being one of the liveliest tributes to the 60s divas – including Lulu whose songs make a huge contribution to the show. Remember Shout, Relight My Fire, Teardrops, The Man Who Sold the World, To Sir With Love and more.
DJ Phil Stevens has 20 years experience spinning the turntables at a wide range of events. His personal choice in music is from the 60s (as well as the 70s, 80s & 90s) making him an ideal choice for this retro music party.
Bosworth Hall Hotel
Bosworth Hall Hotel is located in the heart of the English countryside in the village of Market Bosworth, near Leicester. Set in 11 acres of landscaped gardens, the Grade II listed mansion which houses the hotel dates from the 17th century and still retains many of its original features, making for a visually impressive location. The building’s grand features continue on the inside. The majestic sweep of the hall’s main staircase is enhanced by magnificently carved banisters, bearing baskets of fruit and flowers. The main hall is panelled in oak and boasts a stunning Tudor stone fireplace. Large windows give the rooms a light and airy aspect and overlook breath-taking views of the gardens and moat. The services offered by Bosworth Hall Hotel include fine dining at the Crompton’s restaurant, which adjoins the Bosworth’s cocktail bar, while Jenny’s Carvery serves traditional food. The Courtyard Bar overlooks the hall’s stables, and has a flexible schedule. While at the hotel, guests can also enjoy the Spindles Health and Leisure Club, with its hot tub, steam room, swimming pool and sauna.
The area surrounding the Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa also offers plenty for guests to see and do. The magnificent Warwick Castle is close by, and local attractions such as Twycross Zoo, Donnington Park Racing Circuit and The Snow Dome are also within easy reach of the hotel. The historic village of Market Bosworth, located just a stroll away from the front door of the hotel, is famous for its flower display, and also hosts a range of galleries and antique shops well worth visiting.
