Entertainment

The Legendaries – Les McKeowns former touring band – Remaining band members Phil Hendriks, Darren Lee, Scott McGowan, Nick Gornall and Alex Southgate have regrouped to play all the hits and more, Remembering the hits such as ‘Shang-A-Lang’ Give A Little Love, I Only Want To Be With You, Summer Love Sensation and of course Bye Bye Baby.

From the Gap came together several years ago as ‘Heart & Soul’, Tom and Simon played around the UK, around their busy schedule with The Union Gap. Do not expect to see a ‘slimmed down version’ of a Union Gap show, this is a completely different show, with a few songs from the 1960s but predomently the boys have decided to go along the 70’s & 80’s path, with a lively, Explosive Jukebox Show… with songs that you will definetley know and want to have a good dance too.

CARNABY STREET have been wowing crowds on the South West and UK’s gig scene for nigh on 21years now…..and for anyone who’s been to one of their gigs, it’s not difficult to see why! The hugely popular ‘Swingin’ Sixties Tribute Band’ have the sort of enthusiastic, infectious energy you don’t see with many bands these days. It’s as if every gig is their first! Lead by the dulcet tones of charismatic crooner & frontman Dez, their repertoire ranges from classic songs from the early 60’s ‘Beat Group’ era, through to the deliriously groovy ‘Flower Power’ hits from later in the decade. Hit After hit! After hit , Fab!

Following his success on ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ Jimmy Jemain is the official UK No.1 Cliff Richard Tribute and Europe’s finest and most professional tribute to Cliff Richard. Boasting an uncanny, even eerie likeness to the Peter Pan of pop, Jemain has got all the moves, mannerisms and certainly the authentic voice to utterly convince as a Richard tribute. Jimmy also starred in “Cliff the Musical” in London’s West End and covers almost every hit record Cliff Richard (who has 14 number 1 singles) has ever had. Some of the covers include “Move It”, “Living Doll”, “Summer Holiday”, “Miss You Nights” and more. In this show he performs with the Knight Shadows adding another dynamic to his solo show.

Nancy Ann Lee is best known as “Little Miss Sixties” where she has received rave reviews for being one of the liveliest tributes to the 60s divas including Lulu whose songs make a huge contribution to the show. Remember Shout, Relight My Fire, Teardrops, The Man Who Sold the World, To Sir With Love and more.

Stephen James and his stunning Frankie Valli tribute show spans three decades of music, the show features all of the hits of Frankie Valli both as a solo performer and as part of The Four Seasons. Stephen is super talented and really is the nearest thing to Frankie Valli as you are ever likely to hear, re-creating that trademark falsetto and accent with absolute perfection, along with slick moves, he simply oozes charisma. Stephen appeared on BBC1’s “Star For A Night” with Jane McDonald, the same show that made Joss Stone famous.

Formed in Liverpool in 1961 as The Bluegenes, the band soon changed their name to The Swinging Blue Jeans. They followed virtually the same path to success as many of their Merseybeat contemporaries during the early 1960s. After playing a succession of local dance halls and club engagements, they travelled to Germany and appeared at the legendary Star Club, Hamburg. The band became resident at The Cavern Club and had their own ‘Tuesday Guest Night’. One of the first bands they invited as their guests were The Beatles. The Swinging Blue Jeans were originally founded by Ray Ennis and Les Braid. In 1962, they were signed to a recording contract by HMV Records and their debut single It’s Too Late Now in 1963 just crept into the British charts at Number 30. Their next single Hippy Hippy Shake crashed into the Hit Parade and just fell short of the Number 1 slot. Their follow-up release, Good Golly Miss Molly followed suit and their next single You’re No Good reached Number 3 in Britain. They famously engaged in a punch up with the Rolling Stones at the BBC studios during recording of the first show of Top of the Pops as a result of an argument over a ball point pen for signing autographs. One of Britain’s good-time bands, The Swinging Blue Jeans had their last big hit in 1966 with ‘Don’t Make me Over’.

The legend of ABBA lives on with a legacy of timeless tunes ensuring their place in music history. The Swedish supergroup is as popular and well-loved today as it was in its 70s heyday, with classic pop songs and dancefloor beats familiar with generation after generation. Top tribute band Abba Arrival have been recognized by the music industry as the ‘OfficialNo 1’ International Award Winning Tribute and voted ‘Best Abba Show’ and ‘Most Authentic Abba Show 2019’ by the UK Abba fan club. Arrival have toured internationally and sold out in stadiums, arenas, theatres and concert halls in over 31 different countries Worldwide, and have delighted audiences of all ages since performing in 1995
