Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Hotel
Check in from 3pm. Welcome sparkling reception with your Tour Manager before dinner with wine in the hotel.
Day 2: Knaresborough & Settle to Carlisle Railway
Full day escorted coach trip to include a visit to Knaresborough and a journey on the Settle to Carlisle Railway from Leeds to Appleby crossing the Ribblehead viaduct. Dinner with wine in the hotel.
Day 3: York and Afternoon tea at Bettys
This morning we travel to York for a guided walking tour and some time at leisure. Early afternoon we return to Harrogate where we partake in Harrogate’s tradition of Afternoon Tea at the iconic Bettys Tea Rooms. Dinner with wine and entertainment in the hotel.
Day 4: Harrogate Spring Flower Show
Full day escorted coach trip to the The Great Yorkshire Showground for the opening day of the Harrogate Spring Flower Show, widely regarded as the biggest and one of the most prestigious independent floral exhibitions in the UK. Dinner with wine in the hotel.
Day 5: Depart Hotel
Check out of hotel by 10am
Note: Walking tours, train and boat rides include uneven ground, steps and slopes, and in our opinion are unsuitable for persons with limited mobility requiring use of a walker, a wheelchair and/or a mobility scooter. Order of excursions may be subject to change.

Built in 1889, the hotel sits on eight acres of landscaped gardens in the heart of Harrogate. Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre are a five-minute walk away, and only half a mile away you will find Betty’s Café. The spa features six beauty treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, and indoor pool.
All bedrooms have: En-suite bathroom, towels, free Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, safe, comfy chairs and reading lights and tea & coffee making facilities.
The Hotel has a car park which is operated by another company, all guests travelling with GN Holidays have the parking fee included with the booking.
