Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Hotel
Make your own way to the hotel, room check-in from 3pm for your four-night stay. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 2: Thames Cruise & Henley on Thames
After breakfast in the hotel we travel by coach to board our boat for our morning cruise from Reading to Henley. On arrival in Henley we meet our local guide for a walking tour. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure. We return to the hotel late afternoon. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 3: Cliveden, Marlow & Sonning Mill Theatre
Travel by coach to Cliveden for a guided walking tour and free time to explore the grounds. Midday we travel to Marlow for an afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon transfer to Sonning for dinner at the Mill followed by a show. Return to the hotel by coach after the show.
Set majestically on the banks of the River Thames, the Mill at Sonning Theatre is the only dinner theatre in the UK. Enjoy dining in the elegant restaurant with views over the sparkling Thames before taking your seat in the intimate theatre with only 215 seats allowing the audience to feel involved in the performance.
Day 4: Windsor Castle
After breakfast we join our coach and travel to Windsor Castle where we have entry to the castle and the Coronation exhibition. Free time in Windsor. We return to the hotel late afternoon. Dinner in the hotel.
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle. Entry gives access to the State apartments, including ceremonial rooms that are used today by The Queen and members of the Royal Family. We enjoy a Castle Precincts tour and visit to St George’s Chapel, used for many Royal Weddings including HRH Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle and is also the burial place of many Monarchs including Henry VIII and more recently Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Day 5: Depart Hotel
Check out of hotel by 10am
