Directions by car
Just 5 minutes from Junction 58 A1 (M). Take the A68 towards Corbridge and take the second exit at two roundabouts and the hotel is 500 yards on your left. Sat Nav DL5 6NL.

If travelling by train:
Darlington is our nearest main line station, just 8 miles away with taxis readily available.

 
Parking – ample Free car parking is available at the hotel

Check-in You can arrive anytime from 12pm. Access to the Leisure facilities will be available from 2pm and all accommodation will be available from 3pm. On arrival proceed to the check-in desk and you will be given your room key and any other relevant information. It is advisable to register your car registration with the reception.

Porterage Guests are asked to take their own luggage to their rooms. If you cannot manage, please let one of the team know when you check-in and they will arrange help for you.

Parking – ample Free car parking is available at the hotel.

Purchases Additional purchases such as drinks and snacks must be paid for as you go. The hotel accepts cash and all credit /debit cards (including American Express) for purchases  

Check-outYour room must be vacated by 11am on the last morning.

Dining – Breakfast will be served in the main restaurant 06:30-10:00 (Monday to Friday)  – You can go in at any time – but must be seated by 09:30 latest

Dinner – will be served at 18:30 both nights in the Prince Bishop Suite followed by entertainment in the same venue. Dinners will buffet with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts and will include a vegetarian option.

Seating   Please see the table plan as you enter the Prince Bishop Suite. You will be seated at a table with up to 10 guests, who may or may not be known to you depending on if your booking is part of a larger party. As this is a cabaret dining venue, tables for 2 will not be possible.

Special/Vital requests VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU

We only know about Special requests shown on your GN confirmation – for anything vital not shown or not advised, please call or email us by no later than one week prior to travel – Email info@gnholidays.com or call 01895 83 33 33  9am to 5.30pm weekdays.

In particular we need to know. .

A) Mobility requirements including the use of  scooters, wheelchairs, walking frames or sticks , or cannot climb into a bath.

B) Dietary requirements including food allergies.

C) If travelling with friends not on the same booking reference as you and you have not already told us you want to dine with, or be in nearby accommodation. There is no need to contact us on this matter if you all booked at the same time, have the same booking reference number and same grade of accommodation.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE RESORT DIRECTLY – they will be unable to assist you as they do not have access to your booking info.

Drinks & paying for extras Additional purchases such as drinks, snacks and spa treatments must be paid for as you go. You cannot add purchases to your room account. Payment can be made by Debit or Credit Card.

Hotel Facilities: There is a heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all available for complimentary use during your stay. Towels are provided. The swimming pool is open daily 7am to 9pm –  please note that adult only swim times are 7am – 8am / 10am – 2pm / 6pm – 9pm you are free to use the pool at any time but outside of these times children may also be using the pool. Lockers are available in the changing rooms and need a £1 coin to operate.
