Sand Bay Holiday Village was originally opened in 1947, guest chalets are comfortable and offer en suite facilities featuring a bath or shower. There are brand new LCD TVs with a wide choice of ‘Freeview’ channels, you have central heating for the cooler months and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are ground floor and parking is free.

Whatever the weather has in store during your break, Sand Bay has a choice of leisure facilities to keep you occupied including a games room with Snooker, Pool, Table Tennis and Darts and the Beach is just a short walk away, You can get Snacks and drinks are available from the Rose Garden Café and convenience store. The Restaurant is self-service buffet style.

Sand Bay is a strip of coast in North Somerset bordered to the south by Worlebury Hill and to the north by Middle Hope and Sand Point. It lies 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, and across the Bristol Channel from South Wales and adjacent to the village of Kewstoke.

Directions

Sand Bay Holiday Village is located, across the road from a long beach in the village of Kewstoke and about 4 miles to the north of Weston-super-Mare.

From M5 Junction 21, take the A370 signposted to Weston Super Mare, then at the second roundabout follow signs to Kewstoke/Worle/St Georges on Queens Way, B3440, passing through Worle. After about 2 miles and a further 5 roundabouts, turn right onto Sand Road – the road becomes narrow as it nears the coast. When you reach the coast turn left and Sand Bay Holiday Village can be found 400ft on the left.

Public Transport
The nearest train station is Weston–super-Mare (3.8 Miles)

There is a bus from Weston-super-Mare, (Oxford Street (Bus stop M) or The Grand Pier  – take the Route 1 Coaster bus to Sand Bay – the nearest bus stop to Sand Bay Holiday Village  is  ‘Pontins Sand Bay’ and the journey time is about 20 minutes . The buses run every 30 minutes until 18:05hrs

Parking – ample Free parking in the main car park. There are limited Blue Badge bays on a first come first served basis.

The nearest electric charging point is at Sand Road Car Park ( fees apply ) – 2 mins drive away

ACCOMMODATION

Chalet facilities – Bed Linen, Towels & Kettles

Chalets have bed linen, bathroom towels and a kettle – tea/coffee and milk are available for a small charge from Reception, or you can bring your own. Please note There are NO fridges in any chalets.

Chalets will be serviced on arrival Day only. 

NOTE: Where 2 room chalets have been requested, beds will only be made up and available for the number of guests booked.

OTHER INFORMATION

**On arrival you will be required to complete a Pontins registration form – to speed up this process please click here to complete the form, once completed print it and bring it with you. You will need to complete one form per chalet – your chalet number/s will  be provided when you check-in**

If you are unable to complete the form in advance copies will be made available on arrival to complete.

4.00pm – Check-in for Classic (standard) chalets – Ballroom

2.00pm – Check-in for Club Chalets – Reception

If you have booked Club accommodation it will be confirmed on your booking confirmation with one of the following codes: CLUBSIN, TWCLUB & DBCLUB

All chalets must be vacated by 10am on the final morning

Parking – ample Free car parking is available at the hotel.

Dining – Meals included are start with dinner on the first night and finish with Breakfast on the last morning. Lunches are not included.  All meals are self-service cafeteria style.

Half Price Drinks will be available at the following times:

Main Ballroom   Daily 12 noon to close

Drinks available in this promotion – see screens in bar for details. All other drinks including premium brand spirits will be charged at full price. Of course, we want you to have a good time, but you are encouraged to drink moderately – drunken/ and or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and anybody abusing the scheme will be asked to leave the resort immediately with no recourse.

Due to licensing regulations, only drinks purchased from the bars (not purchased from the on-site shop or bought in by yourselves) can be consumed in the public/ bar areas. In-line with licensing regulations security staff do carry out random bag checks and reserve the right to confiscate any alcohol bought in from outside.

Special/Vital requests VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU

We only know about Special requests shown on your GN confirmation – for anything vital not shown or not advised, please call or email us by no later than one week prior to travel – Email info@gnholidays.com or call 01895 83 33 33  9am to 5.30pm weekdays.

In particular we need to know. .

A) Mobility issues, scooter, wheelchair, frame or stick use, or cannot climb into a bath.

B) Special dietary requirements other than VEGETARIAN – always available.

C) If travelling with friends not on the same booking reference as you and you have not already told us you want to dine with, or be in nearby accommodation. There is no need to contact us on this matter if you all booked at the same time, have the same booking reference number and same grade of accommodation.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE RESORT DIRECTLY – they will be unable to assist you as they do not have access to your booking info.

There is a bus stop near the entrance to Sand Bay Holiday Village – the 1 Coaster bus takes about 20 minutes to the Pier and runs every 30 minutes. The last bus back is around 18:00hrs.
